The case provides screen protection with the case flipped closed. The click wheel is open and easy to use. This bottom of the case has an opening that allows for connection of cables. The top of the PortFolio skin has openings for the hold switch and headphone/remote ports. You may carry thin items that would slip in behind the ipod such and money or credit cards. Episode 5 we review the iPod 4G Tough Skin case from Speck Products in this video segment. The iPod Tough Skin is a ruggedized polymer material case. The polmer looks and acts like a tough version of most silicone style cases.

The tough skin is created for the iPod users that need some extra protection, and do not want to go with a metal case.

The case offers protection for the iPod screen and click wheel. Both the screen and click wheel are protected by clear hard plastic covers that can easily be removed.

The bottom of the case has an opening that allows for connection of cables. The top of the case allows easy access to the headphone port and hold switch. The case also offers a removable swivel belt clip on back of case.

The click wheel is open and easy to use. This bottom of the case has an opening that allows for connection of cables. The top of the Icecase flips open, this is how the iPod in inserted into the case. The flip open top also allows for the use of top mounted accessories, like recorders, FM transmitters and remotes.
