Episode 39 we review the InnoPocket Metal Deluxe case in this video segment. The Metal Deluxe is a light weight aluminum metal case. These cases are available in two colors Black and Silver. There are openings at the top for the hold switch and headphone ports. At the bottom you have access to the docking connector for charging and possible some other accessories. There is a built in clear hard plastic screen protector. The clickwheel is left open for easy access. The case opens by flipping the front of the case down to allow for easy access to your iPod. The belt clip is made from black abs plastic for a sturdy hold. The clip attaches to the case with a removable screw in post. A lanyard is also included with the case.

Episode 38 we review the Speck See thru iPod Video Case (clear case) in this video segment. The speck products clear cases are packages in sets of 3 cases. The colors include a clear, smoke and red case. The red case was not very red, more like something between red and pink. These cases are made from a durable non-shattering plastic. I am not sure why Speck has chosen to package the cases in sets of 3. This positions the case on the higher side of pricing but you get 3 cases versus competitors that may have a single case with better features for similar pricing. May be a good option to purchase and slip between friends. The clear cases do protect your iPod well. There are openings at the top for the hold switch and headphone ports. At the bottom you have access to the docking connector for charging and possible some other accessories. The case was at first a little tricky to get open since it really is locked tightly together. It just turned out that you needed to push in a tab on each side to open the case easier. While these cases look good and protect well they do lack in other features. There is not a belt clip or lanyard option available. I would suggest that if you keep your iPod in a backpack or pocket and like a minimalistic type of case then these may be a good option.

Episode 36 we review the iPod Video Case (5G) from Marware in this video segment. The Marware CEO Classic case is available in black leather. The case is made from soft leather. It looks great and offers several options. The case is made in a flip open style design, the iPod Video slides into the case from the top. A removable belt clip is included with the case. The belt clip attaches to the case with Marware’s clip system. The inside of the case is covered in a soft leather lining that will not scratch your iPod Video. The front flap closes with a snap closure. The case is available in one size that fits both the iPod Video 30Gb & 60Gb units. Marware offers several options for mounting and clipping these cases. A bike mount, car mount, lanyard and several belt clips are available seperately. The CEO classic offers two front covers for this case that are both included in the package.

Episode 29 we review the iPod Nano Case from iSkin in this video segment. The iSkin Duo iPod Nano case is available in eight colors (Sonic Boom, Blush Rush, Arctic frost, Carbon blast, Purple haze, Acid groove, Phantom rave and Polar blast). A clear hard plastic screen protector protects the iPod nano screen. The screen protector fits in between the two different silicone cases and does not touch the Nano’s screen. The case is designed as a dual layer or two cases in one. There is an inner case and an outer case. The inner case is designed to work as a case by itself and also work together with the outer case for a higher level of protection.  The inner case provides a 1mm layer of silicone protection, this case also covers the click wheel. The wheel is still usable through the silicone cover. The outer shell adds another 1mm of silicone protection, that increases the amount of shock protection. The outer shell also offers flip open covers over the bottom docking connector and headphone port. There is a revo2 belt clip that rotates and is completely removable. The case offers a unique texture that helps with gripping the case.

All in all the iSkin Duo case is one my favorite skin cases to be released for the iPod nano. The  texture on the case prodivdes a unique look and feels great in your hand. The thing I like the most about the Duo case is the two tone color look.

Episode 26 we review the iPod Nano hard Case from Corecases in this video segment. The Corecase iPod Nano aluminum case is available in five colors (Silver, Black, Green, Pink and Orange). The case is made from annodized aluminum. The corecase looks great and feels nice also. The nano case features a removable belt that is also made from metal and not plastic. The Corcase case has opening at the top for the hold switch. The bottom of the case is wide open for attaching charging/sycning cables and headphones. There is a lanyard included with the case that connects to the tab on the back of the case. The clickwheel is open and easy to use. There is a clear hard plastic screen protector built into the top part of the case. This nano case is designed as two pieces, a top and bottom part. The two parts slide together to protect your Nano in a hard shell. Corecases lines the inside of these cases with soft neoprene to protect the iPod from being scratched when inserting and removing from the case.

There are some basic things about these cases that impressed me. First the packaging was professional looking and covered the product well. The staff at corecases was very responsive and has been receiving a good buzz about their prodcuts. The overall case design is a new fresh look and not a copy of something already on the market.

This case is at the top of my list of best aluminum cases available for the iPod nano. When you look at the price, design and features this is a hard to beat product.

The case is made in fresh design, the iPod Video slides into the case through the screen opening. The case was designed with ribbed edges for a secure gripping design. The back of the case is designed to allow a set of headphones to be wrapped up around the back. This feature help keep your earbud cables from getting all tangeled up.

I really was impressed by the design and feel of this case. Marware case up with a fresh design on this one.

Episode 37 we review the iPod Video Case from Knomo Bags in this video segment. The Knomo iPod 5G case is available in four leather colors (Bloody Mary Red, Limo Black, James Dark Brown and Bourbon light brown). The case is made from a rugged smooth leather. It looks great with a distrested look. This Knomo case has a different look from most other leather iPod cases on the market today. The case is made in a flip open style design, the iPod Video slides into the case from the top. While the iPod is inside the case the click wheel and screen are open for easy use. The flip covers provides the protection for the front of the iPod when closed. The inside of the case is covered in a soft lining that will not scratch your iPod. The front flap closes with a magnetic closure. The case is available in once size that fits all iPod Video sizes.

The things that I liked about this case were the build quality and overall look of the case. It did have a couple of things that I thought should be changed. When the iPod is in the case the docking port is covered by part of the case. With the front flap closed there is not an opening on the top for the hold switch, this can be accessed easily by opening the flap.

The case is available in one size that fits both the iPod Video 30Gb & 60Gb units.

Piel always makes a nice quality case for these products. Their design does not change mutch between devices, but I am one of the many that love these cases.

I really was impressed by the design and feel of this case. Marware case up with a fresh design on this one.

The two parts slide together to protect your Nano in a hard shell.

There are some basic things about these cases that impressed me. First the packaging was professional looking and covered the product well. With the combination design of metal and plastic this case creates a shinny looking protective shell for your Nano.
