Episode 15 we review the 5G iPod Vide Case from Case-Ari in this video segment. The Case-Ari Video case is available in 11 leather colors. The case is made from soft Nappa leather. It looks great and feels nice also. The case is made in a sleeve type design, the iPod Video slides into the case from the top. The case protects the iPod Video with a rigid shell combined with soft leather covering. A removable belt clip is included with the case, made from black plastic. The belt clip attaches to the case with a screw and post, the post is removable to provide a totaly flat back case. The inside of the case is covered in a soft felt lining that will not scratch your iPod.

The case does not offer protection for the screen or click wheel. Case-Ari does offer a thin film covering for the exposed surfaces that can be purchased seperately.  Case-Ari

Episode 25 we review the 5G iPod Video Skin Case from Radtech in this video segment. The Radtech Gelz iPod Video case is available in six colors (Gary/Bronze, Clear, Yellow, Pink, Green and Blue). The case is made from very soft smooth silicone. The case does seem to attract less lint and dust than earlier silicone cases. It looks great and feels nice also. The Gelz case features a belt loop type slot on the back of the case that can be used for belts or armbands. The case covers the click wheel with a thin silicone covering that still allows full use of the control wheel while in the case. The Gelz case has openings at the top for the holdswitch and headphones while leaving the bottom of the case open for connecting cables and accessories to the docking connector. There are two sizes of the case offered, a 30Gb and 60Gb. There is a lanyard made from shoelace type material included with the case that connects to the tab on the lower side of the case. Radtech offers a couple of add-on accessories for the Gelz cases, which are an armband, a docking port protector and clearcal film protector for the front and back of the iPod.

Episode 24 we review the 5G Video iPod Case from Capdase in this video segment. The Soft Jacket Wrestler iPod Video case is a silicone iPod case. The case covers most of the ipods surfaces. The click wheel is covered with a thin layer of silicone that still allows for normal use of the control wheel. There is a thin flexible clear plastic screen protector that slides just under the case to protect the screen. The screen protector has a soft padding around the bottom outsides of the cover to protect from scratching the iPod’s screen. There is a hand strap that is included with the case. The strap connects to the bottom corner of the case. The hold switch is also covered with silicone but the design still allows for use of moving the hold switch. The headphone port is open on the top of the case. There is an opening on the bottom to allow for cable connections to the iPod’s docking connector. This will allow you to use charging/syncing cables and some accessories. The soft jacket case is coated in an EZ Dust-Go treatment to reduce lint build-up.

The thing I like the best about this case is it’s unique design. Capdase style’d the case with raised and lowered sections for design and added protection in key areas. Part of the sides of the case are also ribbed for easier handling.

Episode 23 we review the 5G Video iPod Case from Radtech in this video segment. The Acclaro iPod Video case is a Clear acrylic hard plastic iPod case. The case covers most of the ipods surfaces with clear hard plastic. The click wheel is open on the case for easy access. There is a clear plastic belt clip that is removable. The clip attaches to the case with a screw in post that is removable. A soft cotton lanyard is included with the case. There are two sliding lock levers on each side of the case that is used to open the case and lock it closed when your iPod is inside. The plastic case offers a very nice clean look and does not take mutch away from the iPods shape and look. Acclaro fits nicely to the shape of the iPod and holds it nicely inside. There is an opening on the back of the case that allows for a belt to slip through or an optional armband available from Radtech. There are openings on the top of the case for the hold port and headphone port. The bottom of the case has an opening for the docking connector, the opening is pretty small and should allow for most charging and syncing cables to attach. But some of the larger cables may not fit into the opening space.

Episode 22 we review the 5G Video iPod Case from iSkin in this video segment. The iSkin EVO3 iPod Video case is available in six colors (Blush Pink, Arctic Clear, Sonic Blue, Eclipse Black, Blaze Red and Atomic Green). A clear hard plastic screen protector called the VISOR protects the front of the iPod. The Visor floats just above the iPod’s front in between two layers of the silicone case.  The EVO3 also features the Revo2 belt clip which has been redesigned to be stronger than previous versions. The belt clip is rotable and will lock into several different spots. The revo2 clip can be removed from the case that allows a flat back for users that do not need a belt clip. The click wheel is covered by a thin layer of silicone that protects the wheel from scratches, moisture and dust. The wheel is still fully usable with the covering. The hold switch is also covered by silicone, but is designed to allow the switch to still function. iSkin has also included their docking port connection cover on the EVO3 case like previous versions. This is a flip open piece of the case that keeps the docking port on the bottom of the iPod clean and is easily opened for cable connections.

All in all the EVO3 case is my favorite skin case to be released for the iPod Video. The evogrip texture on the case prodivdes a unique look and feels great in your hand. They visor screen protection is superior to other cases. I would not hesitate to spend the extra money and get the iSkin EVo3.

A clear hard plastic screen protector is included with the case. The case is made from very soft smooth silicone.  It looks great and feels nice also. The ezSkin features a removable clear plastic belt clip. The belt clip attaches to the case with a removable post that screws into the back of the case. The case covers the click wheel with a thin silicone covering that still allows full use of the control wheel while in the case. The ezSkin case has openings at the top for the holdswitch and headphones while leaving the bottom of the case open for connecting cables and accessories to the docking connector. There are two sizes of the case offered, a 30Gb and 60Gb. A lanyard and hand strap are also included with the case and attach by looping a string connector through two small holes on the side of the case. The ezSkin case is an excellent value with all of its extra items included with the case.

It looks great and feels nice also. The case is made in a flip open style design, the iPod Video slides into the case from the top. A removable belt clip is included with the case. The belt clip attaches to the case with a screw and post, the post is removable to provide a totaly flat back case. The inside of the case is covered in a soft velvet lining that will not scratch your iPod. The front flap closes with a snap closure. The case is available in two sizes for 30 & 60Gb iPod video units.

I really was impressed by the design and feel of this case. Being the first time I used a Noreve case, I did not know what to expect. This case is on the high end of quality in fit and materials.

Episode 8 we review the iPod Video 5G case from Kroo in this video segment. The iPod Skin case is available in Clear, Black, Pink, Purple, Green and Blue colors. All of the colors are partially transparent except the black case is opaque. The click wheel is open and easy to use. The back of the case is flat with a simple design to it. The bottom of the case has an opening that allows for connection of cables. The top of the Kroo case has openings for the hold switch and headphone ports. The case is  pretty thin  at about  1-2mm in thickness. Kroo has included the loop on the side of the case for connecting neck straps or even jewelry charms on it.

Episode 7we review the iPod Video 5G case from Kroo in this video segment. The iPod Melrose case is available in White, Black, Pink, Brown & Green colors. The case provides screen protection with a thin clear covering built into the case. The click wheel is open and easy to use. The bottom of the case has an opening that allows for connection of cables. The top of the Kroo case has openings for the hold switch and headphone ports. You may carry thin items that would slip into the two slots such as money or credit cards. Case acts like a deskstand when the cover folds back and snaps to hold the iPod upright. Melrose case offers swivel belt clip.
